I'm embarking on what I've been calling my "Epic Worldbuilding" project for Guardia. I've always wanted to show the depth of the world behind the books but I hated the idea of doing it in an encyclopedic-format. So after toying with a few ideas, I've decided to do it through a series of letters and stories, shared by some established characters, prior to the series' timeline. It will also give people a glimpse of the lives behind some of the minor characters.
As a teaser, here is the map I am currently working on. It's been a learning curve, this cartography venture, but I quite like how things are turning out so far! I've also noticed my work is becoming more and more inspired by the art nouveau movement. I have no regrets!
